Take This Waltz
Leonard Cohen: I’m Your Man, the concert film/documentary about (obviously) Leonard Cohen is just almost out. Judging from the trailer, it doesn’t look like anything too groundbreaking — interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and all that jazz. I’m sure there is some good music to listen to, and probably Cohen says some charming things.
I recommend keeping your eyes peeled for The Devil And Daniel Johnston instead. The documentary about Johnston is in limited release around the U.S. and definitely worth checking out. Johnston is probably at least five times as peculiar as Leonard Cohen could ever hope to be.
