Not Just For A Few
Recently, I realized not quite everyone has seen “VD is for Everybody,” this completely insane spot-on brilliant Ad Council public service announcement featuring such brilliant characters as a baby, a grocer, and a pregnant knitter.
Combining appealing imagery of attractive folks with an infectious ditty, the PSA does little to invoke terror. The general tone of the thing might have been better suited to some sort of equality rant, and seems to have left many younger viewers with the impressioin that they totally wanted to get VD.
