I am back from exciting adventures spending time with my family, sleeping until noon and general laziness. Eh, these things happen — and by “things,” I mean “holidays.”
Apparently, in my absence the pop culture world had a major romantic meltdown. Nick and Jessica. Tom and Katie. Brangelina. But, I have more important things to address here, like the fact that having a television in your bedroom halves your sex life.
This important research find, made by an Italian sexologist, should prove as further evidence that the 10 o’clock news as horribly unsexy and/or that the kids on That ’70s Show just aren’t that hot. Read it and weep right here.
Apparently, the study also demonstrated that certain programs killed sexual desire more than others. Primary culprits included “violent films” and reality shows. Personally, I nominate The Swan for least sexy reality show.

1) Couples with shitty sex lives put a TV in their bedroom so they didn’t get so bored at night.
2) Couples gave birth to televisions and were so frightened they reduced their intercourse frequency in order to lessen the possibility of further electronic offspring.
