Bret Easton Ellis has a new novel out. Lunar Park tells the story of the fictional character Bret Easton Ellis, and apparently features interludes with such characters as Patrick Bateman.
The fictional Bret Easton Ellis is married and lives in the suburbs. And, while the real Bret Easton Ellis sounds more interesting to me, apparently the book is also interesting. While I doubt I will love this book as much as The Rules of Attraction, and there’s really no way it can be as controversial as American Psycho, I plan to read it.*
*As soon as it’s out in paperback. Money doesn’t grow on trees, you know.
