Songs I am Currently Enjoying Exhibit G: “A Whiter Shade of Pale,” by Procol Harum
Despite being featured in the self congratulating baby boomer epic that is the Big Chill, “A Whiter Shade of Pale” is one of my favorite all-time songs. The film on this particular copy of it is from the original 16mm, and has some intense 1960s-ness going for it.
