If I can bring some joy to another Bob Newhart fan, then my job is done. To be honest, I was originally going to do a completely straight homage to the Newhart style. I loved that show growing up, and my appreciation is completely devoid of irony or kitsch. To some folks "The 70's" is all about The Brady Bunch and tacky disco nostalgia. The picture I have in my head of growing up in the 70's is Bob Newhart all the way.
